Pre-assembled, skid–mounted hot water generation system, comprising of a PhexPak, Buffer Vessel, and all required unvented components.

How does the PhexStore combined system work?
The PhexStore combines the instantaneous capabilities of a packaged plate heat exchanger with the extra capacity offered by a buffer vessel, to offer a continuous supply of hot water for general use and extra volume to fulfil peak demands. This allows the system to fulfil higher peak demand than a typical instantaneous system would otherwise be able to fulfil.
FlexEJ PhexStore Hot Water Generation System
The FlexEJ PhexStore range is designed specifically to be installed to supply hot water in all sizes of commercial applications. Designed and manufactured in the UK, and utilising only the very best components, this product offers a complete solution to hot water generation, in a pre-assembled, skid mounted package.
Flexible Performance
PhexStore comprises of 2 key components, a compact PhexPak Lite or PhexPak packaged plate heat exchanger, and an insulated hot water buffer vessel.
All required safety components for unvented hot water systems are also included; an expansion vessel sized to suit the storage volume, TPRV rated to the kW and flow capacity, cold feed PRV rated to the kW and flow capacity, temperature & pressure gauges, auto air vent, and anti-vacuum valve. There are also optional accessories available; immersion heater, pressure reducing valve, non-return valve and cold feed strainer.
With a kW rating from 50kW to 800kW, storage options from 250L to 2000L, plus the freedom to choose which options are paired together, the PhexStore offers a truly flexible solution.

A. PhexStore is designed to supply hot water for all kinds of commercial applications, such as NHS, MOD, MOJ, Leisure, Hotels, etc. It’s perfect for applications where there’s space for a pre-assembled hot water generation unit, as this saves time and money on the site.
A. Buying combined components in a package is almost always more cost effective than buying everything separately, our prices are listed in our commercial heating web shop, but if you’re unsure on which to product to select or you need more info, please get in touch.

A. There are several processes that can be followed to understand the volume of hot water required, all with guidance from current British standards. Get in touch and we can guide you through this process and/or use the FlexEJ DHW Calculator to get started.
A. Our standard models are compatible with air source heat pumps that can supply a minimum of 65°C on the primary flow. If the supply temperature is lower, we can bespoke design a solution to suit the needs of the project.
A. Whilst the unit is operational, the secondary pump acts as a de-stratification pump whilst circulating the hot water through the heat exchanger and back to the buffer vessel, ensuring constant movement and balance of temperature.
A. PhexStore has a built in Legionella protection cycle that will increase the temperature for a given time period, set by the user, to suit the requirements of the application. An immersion heater can also be installed in the buffer vessel as back up and to ensure the correct temperature is reached and maintained.
A. Yes, PhexStore has a built in ‘plug & play’ BACnet system to make connecting to the BMS system simple. Alternatively, BMS can be hard wired simply for enables and faults.
